Tim Modise was born in Pretoria and holds a Marketing Management Certificate from UNISA and a Diploma in Financial Management from Damelin Business College.
He is also a political analyst for Institutional Investors. He has been involved in Broadcasting since 1980, having worked in various radio stations. He has hosted a number of talk and current affairs show on SAfm Radio, SABC TV as well as 702 &Cape Talk.
Tim Modise has raked in a number of awards – just some of these have been the GQ Magazine’s readers’ choice for “Best TV and Radio Presenter of the Year and the recipient of the “Presidents’ Award” from IPM. Add to that the “Communicator of the Year” from Technikon Pretoria. There have been others.
As the co-presenter for the actuality programme Carte Blanche, he covered all the inauguration ceremonies since 1994 for radio.
Today he does a lot of public appearances, which include MC work and public speaking. Tim Modise is popular with businesses when they are needing a professional MC or public speaker.
