Motivational speaker | Theophilus “Doctor” Khumalo | Johannesburg

Starting his professional soccer career in 1986, Doctor Khumalo is now  a  retired South African soccer player, best known for being a star midfielder for Kaizer Chiefs and  Bafana Bafana.

He was a star player for Kaizer Chiefs and did not play for any other South African soccer club, only leaving them for short overseas playing periods. The highlight of his soccer career was, as part of the  Kaizer Chiefs team, they  won three South African league championship titles and five knockout trophies.

He was also  voted South African Footballer of the Year in 1992.  He  played in a total of 380 league and cup games, scoring 74 goals.

Throughout his  international career, he played for South Africa 50 times – twice as captain – scoring nine goals making him the 13th most capped South African footballer.

He retired from professional soccer in 2004.

Voted 62  in the Top 100 Great South Africans in 2004, he is  married to Namibian beauty queen Blanche Garises and is availalble as an MC and motivational speaker.

Motivational speaker | Roland Schoeman | South Africa

Born in Pretoria, and known as “The Rocket”, Roland Schoeman’s love for swimming took him to the University of Arizona in the USA to benefit from its swimming facilities. He also got his Psychology and Communications degree from the University of Arizona.

He was rocketed to fame after winning a gold medal at the Athens Olympics. This was from his part in the South African 4×100 m freestyle relay team.

His other outstanding achievements have been -

  • 100 m freestyle silver medalist
  • 50 m freestyle bronze medalist at the 2004 Olympics
  • 50 m butterfly silver medalist
  • 50 m freestyle gold medalist at the Commonwealth Games
  • 50m freestyle bronze medalist at the World Swimming Championships
  • 100 m butterfly bronze medalist at the All African Swimming Championships
  • 100 m freestyle silver medalist
  • 50 m freestyle gold medalist at the Federation Internationale de Natation Amateur Championships 2005 ………. plus many other achievements.

This will to succeed in competitive swimming as well as his amazing achievements resulted in him being elected South African Sports Star of the Year in 2004.

Motivational speaker | Jonty Rhodes | South Africa

Born in Pietermaritzburg, Jonty Rhodes is regarded by many as the world’s premier fieldsman; a competent all-rounder even beyond the cricket field, as revealed when he  represented South Africa in hockey, and was chosen as part of the Olympic Games squad to go to Barcelona in 1992.

He has completed a B.Com degree at the University of Natal.

In 1992 he made his first Test debut at Kingsmead against India and his first ODI debut against Australia at Sydney in the same year.During his career he also played for the Irish cricket team and played first-class cricket for Gloucestershire County Cricket Club, KwaZulu-Natal and Natal.

He retired from Test cricket in 2000. In 2004 he was voted 29th in the “Top 100 Great South Africans”.

He is an Indian Premier League coach and is also involved with Standard Bank and  available for motivational talks and MC appearances.

Motivational speaker | Elana Meyer | South Africa

Elana Meyer is ranked as one of the best female distance runners in South Africa and has won 51 straight victories over a variety of distances.
