Motivational speaker | Theophilus “Doctor” Khumalo | Johannesburg

Starting his professional soccer career in 1986, Doctor Khumalo is now  a  retired South African soccer player, best known for being a star midfielder for Kaizer Chiefs and  Bafana Bafana.

He was a star player for Kaizer Chiefs and did not play for any other South African soccer club, only leaving them for short overseas playing periods. The highlight of his soccer career was, as part of the  Kaizer Chiefs team, they  won three South African league championship titles and five knockout trophies.

He was also  voted South African Footballer of the Year in 1992.  He  played in a total of 380 league and cup games, scoring 74 goals.

Throughout his  international career, he played for South Africa 50 times – twice as captain – scoring nine goals making him the 13th most capped South African footballer.

He retired from professional soccer in 2004.

Voted 62  in the Top 100 Great South Africans in 2004, he is  married to Namibian beauty queen Blanche Garises and is availalble as an MC and motivational speaker.

Motivational speaker | Lucas Radebe | Johannesburg

When  Lucas Radebe was  shot while walking down the street, he and another South African player moved to Leeds United in 1994 where he became a star player and was nicknamed “The Chief” by its fans .  In recognition of his leadership and ability, he was appointed captain of the team for the 1998/99 season.

After a successful number of years he sustained knee and ankle injuries, which kept him out of the game for almost two years. He retired from professional  football in 2005 and was offered a role on the Leeds coaching staff..

Lucas earned 70 caps for South Africa, he has  been an ambassador of FIFA for SOS Children’s Villages; he received the FIFA Fair Play Award in December 2000 and was voted 54th in the Top 100 Great South Africans in 2004.

Andre Arendse is  is a former Captain and goalkeeper of Bafana Bafana who speaks on the  implication of the event coming to South Africa.  In 1997 he was selected by  FIFA  to play in the FIFA allstars team against an Asian select team in Hong Kong. In  2002 he captained Bafana Bafana to Cosafa Cup victory.

In his talks he covers topics like how South Africa has been thrust into the spotlight, what opportunities this once-in-a-lifetime event will provide and which companies and industries have benefitted most from past World Cups.

He retired from his international career in 2004.
