What Makes For The Perfect MC?
The MC (Master of Ceremonies) doesn’t have to be a family member when it comes to wedding receptions. Not all family members have excellent taste or the ability to speak eloquently. As such you may want to select an MC outside the normal family circle. In such an instance, you will want to look at the credentials of the MC, list of presentations, the ability to connect with the audience, entertain and ensure that proceedings move forward at the right pace. You will want to meet with the person before the actual reception to provide a background on the family members and ensure that the person gets a feeling of the ambience that you want to create. The ideal master of ceremonies will not embarrass, but will be entertaining, and ensure a seamless event.
