Inspirational speaker | Wilma van der Bijl | South Africa
Wilma completed her Pharmacy degree at UCT in 1985 and started modelling at the age of 21, spending the next five years in Europe doing photographic modelling. She was crowned Miss SA in 1987 and was also a judge for several Miss World pageants.
She started her own business importing earrings from Germany and supplying retail stores in South Africa.
Her life changed when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, but her determination to survive has been a wonderful inspiration to hundreds of both men and women who have been diagnosed with cancer.
